Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services seeks a skilled Senior Sourcing and Contracting Manager to lead strategic planning for perioperative supplies and services across the enterprise. The role chairs the Periop VAT, coordinates with surgeons, clinicians, and leaders, and drives cost savings, contract negotiations, and implementation of new suppliers and products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• 5 years experience in healthcare supply chain information.
• 5 years experience in Peri-Op value analysis, negotiating, contracting, purchasing.
• Strong financial analytics for perioperative products.
• Shall be in good standing or must complete CPSM, Lean/Six Sigma, PM, or related certifications within one year.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic plans for the Periop VAT and prioritize initiatives with clinicians and leadership.
• Negotiate high-cost physician-preference supplies and implants with detailed knowledge of products and market trends.
• Articulate financial impact on revenue and margin for DRGs; coordinate with Population Health for analyses.
• Develop strategy for perioperative supplies and services category management and supplier negotiations.
• Draft RFIs/RFPs, manage term negotiations, and guide implementation/conversion with stakeholders.
