Job summary

GRVTY in Sterling, VA is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to lead pre‑award contracting for competitive government proposals, including NDAs, teaming agreements, and subcontracts. You’ll coordinate with legal, senior leadership, and proposal teams to ensure compliant, winning bids.

The role requires active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, 8+ years in government contracts, and deep knowledge of FAR/DFARS. A bachelor’s degree is required, with Master’s/ITAR credentials a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility.
• Report into a classified SCIF facility full-time with flexibility when coordinated.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, contract management, law, or related field.
• 8+ years government contracts administration; 4+ years in defense/intelligence.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and agency supplements.
• Experience with government contracts (Cost‑plus, T&M, FFP, LOE).
• OCI mitigation knowledge and ability to lead OCI training.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; synthesize information quickly.
• MS Office and SharePoint familiarity; understanding of financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre‑award contracting lifecycle for competitive proposals; draft/negotiate NDAs and teaming agreements.
• Coordinate review/execution with legal counsel and senior leadership.
• Work independently and in fast-paced teams; escalate risks to VP.
• Review solicitations for risks and compliance; support proposal sections (L/M, certifications).
• Build relationships with contracting officers and primes; maintain contract documents.
• Ensure timely contract execution and data integrity; manage portfolio mix.
