Job summary

VTG Defense in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Principal Contracts Administrator to ensure compliance with policies, laws, and customer requirements on government contracts. You will manage contractual documentation, coordinate cross-functional teams, and lead subcontract administration while supporting proposals and complex term negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience.
• Excellent understanding of government acquisition process.
• Experience with Cost Type / Cost-Plus contracts.
• Experience with Firm Fixed Price contracts.
• Prime and Subcontractor experience.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations.
• Experience with NDAs and teaming agreements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contract liaison with customers on assigned contracts.
• Prepare, draft, and execute contractual correspondence with increasing autonomy.
• Maintain contract records and tracking across the lifecycle.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure contractual and financial requirements.
• Lead cradle-to-grave subcontract administration and supplier negotiations.
• Support proposal activities and analyze solicitations for risk and pricing.
• Review and negotiate contract language under supervision.
