Job summary

VTG Defense is seeking a Lead Contracts Administrator to support intelligence community programs from the Chantilly, VA area. You will manage contract processes, ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR, draft key agreements, and coordinate with program management, finance, and legal teams to drive contracts to closure.

You will oversee cradle-to-grave subcontracting, participate in proposal activities, and negotiate terms with suppliers while maintaining robust regulatory compliance and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience in government contracting.
• Strong understanding of the government acquisition process (FAR/DFAR).
• Experience with cost-type/cost-plus and firm-fixed-price contracts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact between company and customer for contractual matters.
• Draft, prepare, and execute correspondence on contractual matters with increasing autonomy.
• Maintain and file all required contract records and documents.
• Track contracts, modifications and awards; coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Lead cradle-to-grave subcontract administration and negotiations.
• Support proposal activities including pricing narratives and compliance reviews.
• Research contract language and seek guidance from VP-Contracts on complex terms.
