VTG is seeking a Principal Contracts Administrator in Chantilly, VA to support intelligence community work. You will ensure compliance with company policies and government requirements, draft and execute contractual documents, and maintain meticulous contract records across programs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 12 years of government contracting experience, including cost-type and firm-fixed-price contracts, with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills to work with

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; 12+ years of government contracting experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of government acquisition processes and applicable laws/regulations.
  • Experience with Cost Type / Cost-Plus and Firm Fixed Price contracts.
  • Prime and Subcontractor experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations and related policies.
  • Experience with agreements beyond contracts (NDAs, Teaming Agreements, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and communicate commitments and alternatives to program teams and management.
  • Maintain understanding of the U.S. government procurement environment and company policies.
  • Serve as primary contract liaison for assigned contracts and projects.
  • Preserve and organize contractual records and correspondence.
  • Coordinate cross-functional actions to monitor status and drive action items.
  • Lead cradle-to-grave subcontract administration and procurement processes.
