Job summary

NOVA Technologies is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead complex contract administration for prime and subcontracted work from award to closeout. The role requires interpreting FAR/DFARS and translating obligations for cross-functional teams, while maintaining audit-ready files and managing changes with delegated authority.

The candidate should have a JD and 6–12 years of progressive government-contracting experience, with master’s degree or MBA preferred and professional certifications such as

Qualifications

• JD required or equivalent government-contracting experience.
• Experience independently administering complex prime contracts or subcontracts.
• Familiarity with FAR, DFARS and government contracting practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer assigned prime contracts, subcontracts, task orders, and related agreements from award through closeout.
• Interpret contract terms, statements of work, modifications, and applicable requirements; translate obligations for program teams.
• Maintain complete auditable contract files, obligation matrices, schedules, logs, and records.
• Lead review, negotiation, and execution of modifications, requests for equitable adjustment, and change proposals.
• Advise program leadership on contractual risk and scope boundaries; coach contract personnel.
