Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Contracts Manager to advise proposal teams, operations leadership, and senior management. You will manage all aspects of contracting from pre-award to close-out across commercial and government clients, leading a small team in a high-volume environment.

The role emphasizes pricing strategy, risk assessment, and negotiations on terms, with significant DoD and GSA experience preferred. A JD or MBA is desired, along with a strong contracting background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus six years of experience or Master's with five years in federal government contracting.
• Two years of experience with a Defense Contractor supporting DoD programs.
• Comprehensive knowledge of contracting principles and all contract types.
• Ability to build pricing models.
• Juris Doctor or MBA degree.
• Three years of experience with the General Services Administration (GSA).

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of customer and program requirements and advise teams to ensure compliance.
• Review solicitations, perform pricing analysis, and lead proposal cost/price strategy.
• Review terms and conditions to assess risk and mitigate.
• Recommend changes to contract structure to reflect requirements and policies.
• Negotiate fixed fee and provide fee justification aligned with contract type and risks.
• Ensure contract/SOW align with pricing assumptions to manage financial risk.
• Establish payment terms and coordinate invoicing with Research Accounting.
• Negotiate modifications and resolve customer issues.
