Job summary

Cadence is seeking a GovCon Manager to oversee U.S. Government-funded contracts and subcontracts, spanning capture, proposal support, and closeout.

The role interfaces with legal, sales, finance, programs, and other stakeholders to mitigate contract risk and align terms with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in government contracts, deep FAR/DFARS expertise, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of government contracts experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Broad knowledge of FAR and DFARS, including FAR Part 12.
• Detail-oriented with strong verbal/written communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must be a U.S. person under 8 U.S.C.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of U.S. Government-funded contracts and subcontracts.
• Advise on FAR/DFARS compliance and Cadence policy.
• Support proposal development including solicitation reviews.
• Assist legal with negotiation of prime and subcontracts.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align terms with business goals.
• Maintain broad knowledge of Cadence products and processes.
