Job summary

Reflection is seeking a Contracts Manager to own and scale its contract operations, from intake to execution. You will work closely with Legal and cross‑functional teams to streamline processes, manage templates, and improve playbooks for faster turnaround times.

The role requires at least 5+ years in contracts or legal operations, with strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills. Autonomy and proactive problem solving are essential in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in contracts management, commercial legal operations, or a related role.
• Prior experience working directly with an in-house legal team, supporting attorneys and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience independently managing commercial agreements from intake through execution.
• Familiarity with NDAs, vendor agreements, SaaS and other technology-related agreements.
• Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management, internal approvals and signature workflows.
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools and automation to streamline contracting processes.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills in a high-volume environment.
• Sound judgment on when to escalate to Legal and push a process forward.
• Strong written and verbal communication across legal, technical, and business teams.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end contract management process, including intake, triage, tracking, internal approvals, signature coordination, and recordkeeping.
• Conduct first-pass review and negotiation of routine agreements, particularly NDAs, using templates and playbooks.
• Support commercial contracting across vendor, procurement, SaaS, data licensing, and other technology agreements.
• Serve as a central point between Legal and business stakeholders, managing follow-ups and execution timelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional reviews with Security, Privacy, Compliance, Finance, and other teams for approvals.
• Manage contract documentation, version control, signature workflows, and executed agreement storage.
• Identify nonstandard terms and escalate substantive issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Develop and improve contracting workflows, templates, playbooks, and SOPs to reduce turnaround times.
• Maintain contract trackers and reporting on volume, status, and bottlenecks.
• Identify opportunities to automate and scale contracting processes as the company grows.
