Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Senior Manager Contracts Administration to lead the Launch Systems (LS) BU contracts portfolio, ensuring strong customer satisfaction, financial performance, and risk mitigation. This 100% onsite role requires directing contract administration staff and guiding senior leadership on complex agreements.

The position emphasizes leadership, collaboration across technical and program teams, and a commitment to compliant negotiations under FAR/DFARS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience including people management experience or Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience including people management experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance with SCI Access
• Experience negotiating and administering various contract types and sizes with U.S. Government or commercial entities
• Experience with FAR, DFARS, OTA Requests for Proposal and Contracts
• Experience in proposal development and pricing, risk identification, contract negotiation, and customer liaison
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to bring projects to completion
• Prior leadership experience including employee development and task delegation

Responsibilities

• Review and approve contractual documents to protect the company's posture and ensure compliance
• Provide guidance and collaborate with technical, program, and functional stakeholders
• Lead diverse perspectives to solve complex problems and communicate effectively to executives
• Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and customer contact activities per policies
• Advise senior leadership on contractual rights, obligations, change management, risk assessment, and cash management
• Develop creative solutions and ensure compliance in routine and complex contract matters
• Negotiate contract scope, price, terms, and conditions with customers
• Build relationships with customers, stakeholders, and direct reports
• Coach and develop a high-performing contracts team
• Maintain robust talent pipeline through effective organizational management
