Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector seeks a Contract Administrator – Level 4 in Chandler, AZ to lead complex government contracts from day one. You will apply your experience in negotiations, FAR/DFARS, and contract types to support program managers and cross‑functional teams.

The role emphasizes leadership, risk mitigation, and data integrity within the CMS, with opportunities to influence terms, compliance, and customer relations in a dynamic defense space environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant professional contracts experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Experience negotiating and administering various contract types (Firm Fixed Price, Time & Materials, or Cost-Plus Fixed Fee).
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements.
• Knowledge of multiple contract types including Firm Fixed Price, Time & Materials, or Cost-Plus Fixed Fee.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize proposal activities and multitask on multiple tasks.
• Identify contractual risks and mitigate with appropriate contract provisions.
• Serve as key business advisor to program managers on contractual and operational matters.
• Plan and execute negotiations of complex contracts to achieve favorable terms and target profits.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers to administer, modify, negotiate and terminate agreements.
• Make timely decisions under deadlines and pressure.
• Collaborate with technical, program, finance, supply chain, security teams for seamless contract administration.
• Enter and manage data in the Contract Management System (CMS).
• Other duties as assigned.
