Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector in Magna, UT is seeking a Senior Manager, Contracts to lead a Contracts team supporting Space Launch and SSP programs. The role covers proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and administration in line with FAR/DFAR and company policies.

The position requires 8+ years in contract administration with people management, a bachelor’s (master preferred), and the ability to obtain a U.S. government secret clearance. On-site work only.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in Contract Administration including people management experience, or related field.
• Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience in Contract Administration including people management experience, or related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Experience with proposal development, pricing, risk assessment, and negotiation.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR, CAS, and government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal/external contractual relations for multiple business segments.
• Review, negotiate, manage, and close out contracts.
• Strategize, coordinate, price, approve, submit, and negotiate proposals.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions with customers.
• Provide counsel to senior leadership on contractual rights/obligations and risk mitigation.
• Manage a team of contracts professionals and mentor direct reports.
• Support policy development and cross-functional collaboration.
