Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector seeks a Subcontracts Manager - Level 2 to lead a team of subcontract administrators and manage complex contracts. You will negotiate terms, oversee risk, and drive cost efficiencies across the supply base while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and customer requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in Subcontracts or related fields, with 2+ years in leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in Subcontracts, Contracts, or Supply Chain.
• 2+ years leading a team or IPT Lead.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and corporate flow downs, data rights negotiations, and commercial item determination.
• Security clearance eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Manages a team of ~7 Subcontract Administrators and ensures subcontracts meet program cost/schedule objectives.
• Negotiate subcontractor price, schedule, milestone payments, terms and conditions for favorable deals.
• Identify cost-reduction, efficiency, and risk-management opportunities with suppliers or internal processes.
• Support performance management of subcontractors; lead Supplier Management Team as needed.
