Job summary

PowerSchool is seeking a Senior Contracts Analyst to support the Commercial Legal team in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating high-volume agreements with customers, vendors, and partners. You will work closely with Sales, Procurement, and Compliance to balance business goals with risk management.

The role requires strong contract literacy across MSAs, SOWs, NDAs and SaaS licenses, plus familiarity with privacy considerations in technology agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements in-house or at a law firm.
• Experience with MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, SaaS licenses, and vendor agreements.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for commercial legal requests.
• Review, draft, and negotiate high volumes of commercial agreements.
• Edit quotes for contractual and commercial consistency.
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Compliance, and Legal to resolve issues.
• Prepare responses to RFPs and RFIs.
• Identify risks and propose practical solutions with attorneys.
• Support contract lifecycle management and template maintenance.
• Improve contracting workflows and templates for efficiency.
• Address data protection and information security considerations in agreements.
• Take on additional projects aligned with Legal team goals.
