Job summary

The University of California - Los Angeles Health is seeking a Contracts and Agreements Administrator in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine to manage the full lifecycle of contracts and vendor purchasing agreements, from drafting to execution and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in contract administration within academic or research settings preferred.
• Proven proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
• Ability to interpret complex legal and business documents.
• Strong communication skills to explain policies and persuade stakeholders.
• On-site work at Westwood, Los Angeles required 3 days/week for six months.

Responsibilities

• Manage intake and administration of contracts and vendor agreements, drafting language, redlining, approvals, and execution.
• Liaise between the Department and Dean's Office, Health System, and Campus Legal.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement process from needs assessment to contract closure.
• Maintain records of contract terms, negotiations, amendments, and compliance.
• Manage Sales & Service Agreements and amendments/renewals.
• Advise internal teams on all aspects of contract administration.
