Job summary

Key duties include coordinating complex submissions, budgeting, and advising on funding opportunities to advance research and compliance across the department.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of research administration experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong writing skills to draft persuasive text while complying with sponsor guidelines.
• Ability to perform complex financial analysis and customized reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review, and submission of complex grant and contract proposals.
• Provide pre and post- award support for sponsored research activities and funding mechanisms.
• Interpret and apply sponsor, institutional, and regulatory policies to ensure compliance.
• Develop proposal budgets, review funding opportunities, and support strategy.
• Maintain grant and contract records and oversee pre award transactions.
• Collaborate with faculty and research partners to support funding success.
