Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. seeks a Contracts Senior Advisor (Renewable Energy) to lead commercial contracting for utility-scale projects, negotiating EPC, equipment supply, and service agreements while guiding risk allocation through the project lifecycle.

The role partners with Development, Engineering, Construction, Operations, Legal, Finance, and executives; requires 10+ years of contract management experience and a strong grasp of governance, schedules, and change orders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in contract management and commercial negotiations.
• Experience drafting and administering EPC, equipment supply, and professional services contracts.
• Strong understanding of project risk, schedules, and change management.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex concepts.
• Knowledge of contract law and governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial contracting activities for utility-scale renewable energy projects, including EPC, supply, and service contracts.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and administer a broad range of project-related agreements.
• Identify deviations and develop negotiation strategies balancing commercial objectives and risks.
• Negotiate with contractors and suppliers while guiding the contracting lifecycle.
• Provide contract administration support during project execution and change orders.
• Evaluate risks and ensure alignment with company standards and market practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior contract professionals.
• Maintain templates, playbooks, and negotiation guidelines; drive process improvements.
