Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking a Contracts Senior Advisor to lead commercial contracting for utility-scale renewable energy projects, spanning solar, wind, and storage assets.

You will structure agreements, manage risk, and support decision-making across Development, Engineering, Construction, Operations, Legal, and Finance. The role emphasizes negotiation of EPC and related contracts, and offers hybrid in-office work, with travel up to 25% domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of contract management experience on large capital/infrastructure projects.
• Experience drafting and negotiating EPC, supply, and service contracts.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 25%.
• Knowledge of contract law principles and risk allocation.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial contracting activities for utility-scale renewable energy projects, including sourcing strategies and bid evaluations.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and administer EPC, equipment supply, operations and maintenance, professional services, and other project contracts.
• Review proposals, identify deviations, and develop negotiation strategies balancing objectives and risk.
• Lead negotiations with contractors, suppliers, and consultants as contracting advisor.
• Provide contract administration support during project execution, including change orders and disputes.
• Evaluate risks and advise on appropriate risk allocation.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve complex contractual matters.
• Maintain contract templates and negotiation guidelines; drive process improvements.
• Mentor junior contract professionals and share knowledge.
