Iron Mountain is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator, Public Sector to join our Government Solutions team. This role supports strategic and complex opportunities with Federal, State, Local, and Education customers, manages existing contracts, and builds relationships with government contracting officers and internal stakeholders. This remote position requires an individual who demonstrates leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Support the Federal and State, Local, and Education (SLED) business teams by assessing pre- and post-contract awards, contract solicitations, and Statements of Work to mitigate risks. This includes analyzing contract requirements, working with SMEs to identify risks, supporting proposal preparation, and negotiating customer terms.
- Administer Public Sector prime/subcontracts and modifications, including analyzing contract requirements, managing contract changes, and overseeing pricing compliance and reporting under SLED buying vehicles.
- Review and complete Vendor Certification forms (Reps & Certs) for Public Sector customers and other business units.
- Review, negotiate, and process orders, task orders, awards, and modifications.
- Support compliance with the Federal Service Contract Act and SLED wage requirements, including subcontractor flow-down provisions and diversity requirements.
- Assist in developing and implementing the Public Sector contract compliance program.
Qualifications
- Unwavering integrity and dependability.
- Experience in Federal and/or SLED contracting, including commercial contracting concepts; familiarity with FAR Part 12 and GSA Federal Supply Schedules is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, process management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail in contractual, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently, applying judgment and creativity to resolve contract and compliance issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to advise and interact with upper management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Ability to operate contract repository databases and automated workflows effectively.
