Iron Mountain is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator, Public Sector to join our Government Solutions team. The Senior Contracts Administrator is responsible for supporting strategic and complex opportunities with Federal, State, Local, and Education customers, administering existing contracts, and building relationships with government contracting officers and internal stakeholders. This remote position requires an individual who demonstrates leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Federal and State, Local, and Education (SLED) business teams by assessing pre- and post-contract awards, solicitations, and Statements of Work to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. This includes analyzing contract requirements, working with stakeholders to identify risks, supporting proposal preparation, and negotiating customer terms.
- Administering Public Sector prime/subcontracts and modifications, including analyzing contract requirements, managing contract changes, and supporting contract performance and compliance.
- Reviewing and completing Vendor Certification forms for Public Sector customers and other business units.
- Reviewing, negotiating, and processing orders, task orders, and modifications.
- Supporting compliance with the Federal Service Contract Act and SLED prevailing wage requirements, including subcontractor flow-down provisions and small business/diversity requirements.
- Assisting in developing and implementing the Public Sector contract compliance program.
Qualifications and Skills
- Unwavering integrity and dependability.
- Experience in Federal and/or SLED contracting, including commercial contracting concepts; familiarity with FAR Part 12 and GSA Federal Supply Schedules is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, process management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail regarding contractual, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently, applying judgment and creativity to resolve issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to advise and interact with upper management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Ability to learn and operate contract management databases and automated workflows.
