Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) seeks a Senior Manager, Contracting Services to assist senior leaders by executing core procurement tasks for a designated Contracts Department unit. The role provides status updates and supports strategic procurement initiatives to advance the Capital Program.

Hybrid role with duties that may extend beyond standard hours, including travel to other MTA locations. You will engage with MWBE vendors and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Six or more years of related experience.
• Two or more years in contracts/procurement management or supervisory role.

Responsabilités

• Drafts, edits, and contributes to reports for agency executives and senior staff on capital program delivery.
• Ensures contract files document procurement and decision-making processes.
• Reviews SAI memos and vendor responsibility checks.
• Reviews vendor documents, including background checks and DDCR coordination.
• Supports MWBE vendor management across contracts to enhance diversity and comply with policies.
• Assists in vendor award processes to ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Supports management of consultant services and staffing procurements, including IT resource development and system enhancements.
