Job summary

Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Construction & Development seeks a Senior Manager, Contracting Services to lead procurement tasks for a designated business unit in the Contracts Department. This role reports to the Assistant Director, Contracting Services and is based at 2 Broadway.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least six years of related experience, including two years in contract management or supervisory roles.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience in contracting/procurement.
• 2+ years in contract management or supervisory role.
• Bachelor’s degree as listed.

Responsibilities

• Drafts, edits, and reports for agency executives on delivering the Capital Program.
• Ensures contract files document procurement and decision processes.
• Reviews memos and vendor responsibility checks.
• Reviews vendor background checks and DDCR coordination.
• Supports MWBE vendor management to increase diversity and comply with policies.
• Assists in management of the vendor award process for legal compliance.
• Supports management consultant service and IT resource development for procurement.
