Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Contract Paralegal to support the Commercial Transactions Group within the Office of General Counsel in a hybrid Washington, DC setting. The role requires independent handling of high-volume commercial contracts, drafting and reviewing routine agreements, and leveraging AI-enabled tools responsibly to improve speed and quality of workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of legal office experience as a paralegal or contracts professional.
• Experience reviewing, drafting, and processing commercial agreements.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, organization, and professional communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
• Practical fluency with AI tools used for professional work, including prompts, verification, confidentiality and security.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end processing of commercial agreements in contract management system, including workflow monitoring and signature coordination.
• Draft and revise routine contract documents for attorney review and approval.
• Proofread, edit, format, and finalize contracts with accuracy and version control.
• Coordinate with attorneys, internal clients, vendors, and stakeholders to track items and move transactions to completion.
• Assist with reporting and quality-control activities and identify process improvements.
• Provide support for trademark and copyright portfolios as requested.
