Job summary

Sysco's Global Support Center in the Energy Corridor near Houston seeks a Senior Paralegal to review, draft and negotiate routine commercial agreements, including NDAs and hold harmless agreements, using templates and playbooks. The role will lead the design and optimization of AI-powered workflows for faster intake and first-pass review.

The Senior Paralegal will work with attorneys in the Commercial & Transactions group, support related legal projects, and maintain templates and clause

Qualifications

• BA/BS or Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies or equivalent field required.
• 5+ years of paralegal or contracts experience in a law firm, in-house legal department or corporate/business environment.
• Demonstrated hands-on fluency using legal AI and generative AI tools in day-to-day legal work.
• Experience building AI-enabled workflows for legal or contracting processes is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate routine commercial agreements using approved templates and playbooks.
• Manage intake and triage of routine contract requests and escalate non-standard terms.
• Design, build, test and improve AI-powered tools and workflows for contract intake, triage and review.
• Maintain and improve contract templates, clause libraries and playbooks for AI use.
• Track contract request volumes and turnaround times and report on improvements.
• Partner with internal clients to explain standard positions and coordinate execution.
