Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Richmond, VA, seeks a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive measurable, sustainable improvements across operations and support functions, co-owning site initiatives and coaching Lean capabilities. You will design and revise manufacturing processes, build KPI dashboards (Power BI), and lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and cross-functional problem solving.

The role requires four-year engineering degree, 3–7 years CI experience, CAD skills

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering required.
• 3–7 years of Continuous Improvement experience.
• 2+ years of Project Management experience.
• Lean/Six Sigma knowledge and application.
• CAD proficiency (SolidWorks/AutoCAD).
• Cross-functional experience in Operations/Supply Chain/Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Deploy SQDIP visual management across all levels, aligning with the 0DOVER framework.
• Lead Kaizen and rapid improvement events, value stream mapping, and structured problem solving.
• Analyze production processes and schedules; provide reports to guide decisions.
• Build KPI dashboards (Power BI) and demonstrate ROI for optimization projects.
• Coach Lean principles and 0Dover model across the organization.
