Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Content Systems & Innovation to shape scalable, modular content frameworks and governance across multiple audiences and channels.

You will drive AI-enabled enhancements, reusable content models, and editorial-technical collaboration to deliver measurable improvements in content efficiency and personalization. You will partner with Editorial, Product, Technology, Analytics, Clinical, and Revenue teams to align content systems with business goals, ensuring

Qualifications

• 7+ years in content strategy, content systems, operations, or related field.
• Hands-on with structured and modular content systems; Contentful preferred.
• Strong knowledge of content modeling, taxonomy, metadata, governance, and reusable content frameworks.
• Experience creating scalable tools, templates, workflows, and operational frameworks.
• Ability to identify complex content or operational challenges and deliver practical solutions.
• Experience applying AI, automation, or emerging technologies to content workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement a structured and modular content strategy, including models, taxonomy, metadata, tagging, and governance.
• Lead reusable content structures supporting websites, newsletters, tools, personalized experiences, journeys, platforms, and channels.
• Develop structured models for high-value healthcare information (conditions, treatments, drugs, symptoms, FAQs, clinical information).
• Create tools, templates, frameworks, and workflows to improve planning, production, structuring, updating, optimization, and distribution.
• Identify workflow friction and develop scalable solutions to address inefficiencies.
• Evaluate technologies to improve content operations, reuse, personalization, quality, and performance.
• Identify and implement AI and automation opportunities across tagging, transformation, updating, optimization, and distribution.
• Design workflows balancing automation with editorial, clinical, and governance oversight.
• Test emerging technologies and assess potential operational and audience value.
• Partner with Product and Technology to connect structured content with personalization and journeys.
• Establish content-system standards, documentation, governance processes, and quality controls.
• Translate editorial, audience, and business needs into system requirements and prioritize investments.
• Establish measurement and feedback loops to assess tool effectiveness.
• Build organizational understanding of structured content and its role in discovery, personalization, efficiency, and growth.
