Job summary

Pearson is seeking a senior product manager/strategist to guide content teams, model taxonomies, and rebuild production workflows. You will partner across content, product, engineering, and editorial to raise quality and drive measurable outcomes.

You will lead the establishment of standard spine, metadata schemas, and AI-enabled workflows, with hands-on delivery and coaching across the organization.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of product management experience in content, publishing, or content platforms.
• Hands-on ownership of content standards work: taxonomy and metadata design.
• Experience with authoring, production, and delivery platforms (CMS, DAM, LCMS, XML).
• Built and shipped substantive content systems as owning PM, incl. AI tooling.
• Experience in SVPG-style empowered product teams and value-centric planning.

Responsibilities

• Embed content standards into real business unit work with global quality data.
• Redesign production workflows, reducing handoffs and rework.
• Partner with content leaders on strategy, planning, and craft.
• Guide teams to high-quality plans tracing to learner jobs and business outcomes.
• Build AI fluency and design evaluation for AI-assisted content generation.
