Job summary

Pearson is seeking a senior product manager/strategist to lead content standards, taxonomy and metadata design, while hands-on building improvements alongside content business units. You will shape AI-enabled content workflows, improve production pipelines, and mentor senior PMs to elevate library-scale content programs.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of product management in content domains.
• Owns content standards, taxonomy and metadata design.
• Experience with authoring, production, and delivery platforms.
• Built and shipped substantive content systems with AI tooling.
• Experience in empowered product team models (SVPG-style).
• Proven continuous discovery and translating outcomes for content.
• Experience coaching PMs and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Embed standards spine inside business unit work with global data standards.
• Redesign and shorten production workflows with teams to reduce handoffs.
• Partner with content leaders through strategy, planning and craft.
• Guide teams to high-quality plans tracing to learner jobs and outcomes.
• Design and deliver training anchored in real content problems.
• Contribute to content job family and career architecture.
