Job summary

Pearson is seeking a senior product manager/strategist to lead content standards, taxonomy, and metadata design across business units. You will coach senior PMs and collaborate with content leaders to streamline workflows and drive measurable improvements in quality and efficiency.

You will build training, align artifacts from MRDs to PRDs, and apply AI tools to enhance content production while maintaining rigorous quality guarantees.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of product management experience in content/publishing domains.
• Hands-on ownership of content standards: taxonomy and metadata design.
• Experience with authoring, production, and delivery platforms (CMS, DAM, LCMS).
• Built and shipped substantive content systems as owning PM, including with AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve content standards and taxonomy across units.
• Redesign production workflows to reduce handoffs and rework.
• Lead and coach content PMs and senior leaders in a SVPG-style model.
• Deliver training and tooling to improve AI-enabled content generation quality.
