Job summary

Pearson is seeking a senior product manager/strategist to advance Content Excellence. You will work alongside content BU teams, model a taxonomy with them, and rebuild production workflows to elevate team capabilities and outcomes.

You will lead the design of standards, metadata, and content platforms, collaborating across product, engineering, and editorial to drive measurable quality improvements and AI-enabled content workflows.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of product management experience in content, publishing, or content platform domains.
• Hands-on ownership of content standards work: taxonomy and metadata design, quality frameworks, structured content.
• Experience with authoring, production, and delivery platforms (CMS, DAM, LCMS) and at least one major consolidation or migration.

Responsibilities

• Owns and guides content standards work and metadata design.
• Redesigns production workflows to reduce handoffs and rework.
• Partners with content leaders to strategy, plan, and craft content that ties to learner jobs and business outcomes.
• Builds AI fluency across the content talent base and experiments with current AI tools.
• Brings evaluation, telemetry, and human-in-the-loop design to AI-assisted content generation and QA.
