Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• 2+ years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex items.
• Experience guiding teams to achieve goals aligned to strategic initiatives.
• Experience leading multi-team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and delivery tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, oversight, and coaching for a team of software engineers.
• Influence budget, resources, and delivery through architectural and process decisions.
• Set operating practices for AI-assisted engineering and SDLC/TLM automation across teams.
• Drive governance, quality gates, and secure handling of data in engineering workflows.
• Collaborate across teams and stakeholders to align on priorities and outcomes.
• Provide input to leadership on budget and technical considerations to improve efficiency.
• Develop and enhance content platform using Java Full Stack, React, and Next.js with headless APIs.
• Build secure external-facing applications with secure coding practices and AI agents to improve code.
