Job summary

You will design high-quality production code, oversee design decisions, and ensure governance of secure coding practices while delivering content platform enhancements across digital channels.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Advanced in one or more programming language(s).
• Demonstrated experience leading effective use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and security.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance to business and teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews others' code.
• Drives adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices across teams with measurable validation standards.
• Utilizes SDLC tools and AI capabilities to improve automation and code value.
• Influences product design, application functionality, and technical operations decisions.
• Acts as a subject matter expert in one or more focus areas across the function.
• Contributes to engineering community by promoting framework/tools usage.
• Develops content platform using Java Full Stack, React, and Next.js for headless content API across channels.
• Builds secure external-facing applications using secure coding practices and AI agents to optimize code.
• Designs scalable cloud-native solutions with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway).
• Leads and mentors engineers in an Agile environment.
