Job summary

Ministry of Justice is seeking a Senior Content Designer to create and continually improve user-centred content across digital services. You will own content quality, informed by research and data, and align content journeys with business processes in informational and transactional services.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including researchers, designers, product owners and developers to deliver accessible and intuitive services, share best practices, and mentor colleagues

Qualifications

• Proven track record developing content for digital services.
• Strong writing skills across topics and formats.
• Experience working in agile teams.
• Ability to translate research into clear, accessible content.
• Knowledge of accessibility and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement content strategies that meet user needs, business objectives and support effective customer journeys.
• Use user research, feedback, behavioural insights and performance data to continuously improve content and services.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders and partners to deliver clear, user-focused content and promote content design best practice.
• Ensure content is accurate, accessible, legally compliant, optimised for search, and adheres to design, style and brand standards.
• Take a strategic view of business challenges, wider impacts and long-term outcomes to identify content solutions.
• Support the wider content team through peer reviews, content audits, benchmarking and continuous improvement activities.
