Job summary

MECU Credit Union in Baltimore is seeking an experienced Loan Servicing Specialist to support existing loan accounts and ensure accurate reconciliations. You will handle GAP, CPI, EWP processes, title tracking, and research complex servicing issues to deliver timely and compliant resolutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of member service or financial services experience.
• 2+ years of consumer loan servicing experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Executes advanced servicing and maintenance of existing consumer loan accounts.
• Manages GAP, CPI, and EWP reconciliation activities and resolves discrepancies.
• Oversees vehicle title processing, tracking, collection, and follow-up to ensure timely and accurate receipt and maintenance.
• Reviews title documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance and resolves deficiencies.
• Coordinates title-related issues with members, dealerships, state agencies, insurance companies, and other appropriate parties.
• Conducts quality control reviews of funded consumer loans to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
