Job summary

State Department Federal Credit Union is seeking a Loan Servicing Representative I to assist members with mortgage or consumer loan questions and requests. The role covers payoffs, escrows, auto releases, and payment processing, with a focus on accuracy and member service.

You will handle inquiries via phone, email, and mail, and support documentation and imaging for loan files, while maintaining knowledge of loan products and processes used by SDFCU.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• 3+ years in a credit union or banking environment (lending preferred).
• 2+ years handling a large volume of telephone calls.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Issue mortgage payoff requests to attorneys and title companies.
• Handle member inquiries via phone, email, and mail on loan servicing topics.
• Maintain files for consumer loans and mortgages, including imaging.
• Process auto loan releases and lien-perfection guidance.
