Job summary

Gosunward is seeking an experienced lending specialist to advise members on auto, personal, credit card, and home equity line of credit needs. You will evaluate creditworthiness, explain terms, gather documents, and guide applicants through the loan process with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

The role requires two years in consumer lending, strong knowledge of lending regulations, and the ability to meet sales targets while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Two years’ consumer lending or related experience.
• Knowledge of consumer loan products and regulations.
• Familiarity with federal/state lending rules (ECOA, Fair Lending, TILA).
• NMLS registration or ability to become registered upon employment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate loan applications and confirm creditworthiness.
• Explain loan terms and collect signatures and fees.
• Process loans from application to disbursement and follow-up.
• Educate members on loan options and financial planning.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare memo notes for underwriters and assist in decision making.
• Handle HELOC and consumer loan applications, including collateral verification.
