Job summary

Sikorsky Credit Union is seeking a Loan Advisor to originate consumer loans and home equity products in alignment with credit union policies. You'll connect with members by phone or online to review options and help them choose suitable programs.

You'll meet production goals, deliver excellent member service, analyze credit reports for opportunities, and promote ancillary products while maintaining regulatory compliance and a positive member experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience originating or processing consumer loans or residential mortgage loans.
• Familiarity with loan products and processing workflows; ability to quickly learn portfolio loan products.
• Must successfully complete registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry and annually renew.

Responsibilities

• Originate new consumer loan and home equity applications through targeted outreach.
• Meet and exceed individual and team production goals to drive revenue and satisfaction.
• Process loan applications accurately and in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Follow up with borrowers with timely updates for a seamless loan experience.
• Analyze credit reports to identify savings opportunities and present solutions.
• Explain loan terms and statuses from application to closing; promote ancillary products.
