World Wide Technology, Inc. (WWT) invites a seasoned Consulting Systems Engineer to lead the technical vision for Fortune 500–Fortune 2,000 clients.

This senior pre-sales role designs big-picture multi-cloud, data center and security solutions, coaching customers through complex transformations. The ideal candidate lives near San Francisco, has 8+ years in solutions architecture or systems engineering, and communicates effectively with executives while partnering with Sales and OEMs.

Qualifications

• Must live in or near San Francisco, CA.
• 8+ years in solutions architecture or systems engineering roles in large enterprises.
• Broad knowledge across IT domains— networking, cloud, virtualization, security, and UC.
• Architectural thinker who weaves hardware, software and services from multiple vendors.
• Experience with OEM partner solutions and driving outcomes.
• Strong business acumen and consultative skills for executive audiences.
• Excellent presentation and documentation skills.
• Experience in cross-functional teams and with external partners.
• Willingness to travel up to ~25%.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical sales strategy for key accounts and design innovative architecture solutions delivering business value.
• Collaborate with Sales in discovery, design sessions, demos and solution presentations.
• Translate customer requirements into custom technical designs and proposals for stakeholders.
• Build and manage relationships with customer teams and OEMs as trusted advisors.
• Utilize ATC for hands-on workshops, demos and proofs-of-concept to accelerate sales cycles.
• Stay ahead of technology trends across cloud, security, networking and digital workplace.
