Job summary

Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Consultant for Vault CDMS with 5+ years EDC experience to help customers optimize trial data management. You will configure designs, train users, and coordinate data transfers across labs, eCOA, and DQS, in a remote-friendly role open to EU/UK and travel up to 10%.

You'll lead database development per project plans, work with sponsor/CRO teams, and provide ongoing support through go-live, ensuring regulatory alignment and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with EDC clinical software including end-to-end data management.
• Background in life sciences industry with project assessment, planning, development, training, and implementation.
• Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within software professional services or consulting.
• Programming experience in SAS, R, JSON, Python, or SQL, with ability to pick up new SQL-based languages.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to customers and clinical sites, ensuring trial designs are configured to meet goals; provide training and mentorship.
• Lead database development activities per the project plan, coordinating with sponsor, CRO, and other vendor teams.
• Coordinate with clinical data providers (labs, ECG, eCOA, IRT) to configure data transfers.
• Configure forms, rules, and other study items in Vault CDMS, and build SQL-based listings for data cleaning needs.
• Run on-site or remote user acceptance testing, manage feedback and issue resolution.
• Support requirements gathering and specification writing for study integrations and go-live activities.
