Job summary

Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Migration Consultant to lead end‑to‑end data migrations for Vault CDMS and DQS. You will work directly with Sponsors and CROs to map legacy data, transform and validate datasets, and ensure data integrity during ingestion.

This is a highly technical, customer‑facing role within a fast‑paced migration team. The role requires 5+ years in EDC and clinical data management, strong programming skills (SAS, R, Python, SQL), and willingness to travel up to 10% (possibly

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with EDC clinical software, covering end‑to‑end data management (database design, data collection, data analysis, query resolution, datasets, statistical reporting)
Experience in a customer‑facing role, ideally within software professional services or consulting
Willingness to travel up to 10%, potentially international travel

Responsibilities

Interpret legacy clinical database structures, protocol specs, and data mapping requirements with Sponsors and CROs
Perform data transformation and script validation on large clinical datasets from legacy platforms
Lead end‑to‑end data migration delivery across active trials per the project plan
Develop and configure validation scripts and SQL‑based listings for data integrity during ingestion
Provide feedback to product teams based on migration challenges and data bottlenecks
Develop reusable migration tools and templates, mentoring junior team members
