Travelers in Hartford seeks an Account Executive Officer specializing in Construction Loss Sensitive to partner with agents and brokers, assessing complex risk and tailoring coverage for large projects. You will underwrite casualty programs for wraps, joint ventures, and project-specific placements while driving profitable growth and strong client relationships.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Six to eight years of underwriting experience with construction loss sensitive.
• Knowledge of construction loss sensitive products and local market.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrite casualty programs for large construction projects (Wrap Ups, Joint Ventures, Project Specific).
• Manage profitability, growth and retention of an assigned book.
• Underwrite and negotiate complex accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
• Cultivate internal and external relationships to create sales plans and cross-sell opportunities.
• Meet with agents/brokers in person to market Travelers products and write/retain accounts.
• Travel to meetings as required.
• Develop agency sales plans and collaborate with MD on regional plans.
• May mentor less experienced Account Executives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
