Job summary

Capitol Careers LLC is seeking a Recruiting Manager to lead full life cycle recruiting for craft and skilled trades across the firm’s construction operations in the Southwest and beyond.

You will partner with field leaders, develop strategic labor plans, and build pipelines via sourcing, referrals, and partnerships with trade schools and communities. This role requires travel to project sites and a strong track record in technical construction recruiting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–8+ years of recruiting experience in industrial construction or similar technical environments.
• Direct experience recruiting for skilled trades and craft positions.
• Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, and field recruiting approaches.
• Experience partnering with field leadership and project teams to fill roles across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead full life cycle recruiting for craft and skilled trades across multiple regions and sites.
• Recruit for specialized craft roles in advanced manufacturing and technical construction settings.
• Build pipelines via direct sourcing, networking, referrals, and industry events.
• Manage high-volume recruiting while maintaining candidate experience and hiring quality.
• Partner with operations, superintendents, and workforce planners to align hiring with project needs.
• Develop recruiting strategies for labor demands across regions and projects.
• Provide market intelligence on labor availability and compensation trends.
• Build relationships with staffing partners and apprenticeship programs to standardize processes.
• Ensure compliance with hiring practices and workforce documentation across states.
