Job summary

Skanska USA Building is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead on active construction sites, coordinating multiple teams, subs, and vendors while upholding safety and quality standards.

This role requires 15+ years in building construction, strong leadership, and experience with BIM, scheduling tools, and project management systems; a bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years in building/construction with leadership experience on multiple projects.
• Bachelor's Degree - Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or similar or 8 years equivalent experience plus minimum 10 years prior relevant experience.
• 8+ years actively creating a Safety and QA/QC Culture.
• 10+ years experience scheduling and prioritizing activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site operations, staffing, mentoring, performance, and safety on active construction sites.
• Coordinate with internal departments, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to align project goals.
• Interpret plans and specifications, manage logistics, mitigate risks, and monitor subcontractor performance.
• Lead cross‑departmental teams, drive scheduling, and implement process improvements across projects.
