Job summary

Skanska USA Building seeks a Superintendent I (Area) to lead field operations in assigned project areas, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, profitability, and adherence to contract documents, design, budget, and schedule.

The role supervises field labor and Assistant Superintendents, emphasizes on-site leadership, coordination, and real-time decision-making in production, safety, and meetings. A bachelor’s in engineering or equivalent and experience on fit-out or large projects are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Leadership experience on fit-out projects or large building projects.
• Experience in safety and QA/QC leadership.
• Subcontractor oversight, schedule updates, change orders, and plans interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations within assigned project areas.
• Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in line with contract documents, design, budget and schedule.
• Supervise field labor and Assistant Superintendents on-site.
• Coordinate production, safety practices, and meetings with project teams.
