Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead, direct, and coordinate subcontractors and Turner trade labor on an on-site basis. You will ensure safety, schedule delivery, and quality while managing budgets and personnel from assistants to interns.

Responsibilities include creating schedules, resolving field issues, overseeing billing and WIP estimates, and ensuring work complies with contract documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years related experience.
• Knowledge of building construction methods and cost control procedures.
• Ability to read contract documents, drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and staffing.
• Coordinate trades to maintain project flow and resolve field issues.
• Manage site safety program and subcontractor compliance.
• Supervise and develop junior staff and interns.
• Create and implement sequences and recovery plans to protect schedules.
• Communicate with owners/architects on field issues and changes.
• Oversee billing, pay applications and WIP related activities.
• Ensure work conforms to contract documents.
