Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Superintendent to oversee all stages of commercial construction across the Western U.S. You will lead on-site activities, develop schedules, manage budgets and contracts, and coordinate with architects and engineers to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a superintendent role in construction.
• Experience budgeting, scheduling, contract management, and planning.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Proven leadership and excellent communication with stakeholders.
• Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Certifications in safety or project management desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage on-site construction activities ensuring compliance with designs, specs, regulations, timelines, and safety codes.
• Develop and manage project schedules to meet deadlines.
• Oversee budgeting, contracts, and procurement for cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to interpret blueprints.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors and ensure quality workmanship.
• Ensure activities align with current building codes and regulations.
• Develop and implement construction plans and manage changes as needed.
• Address issues with strong problem-solving skills during construction.
• Lead and inspire a high-performing team to foster collaboration and excellence.
