Job summary

Jobot is seeking a General Superintendent to lead major commercial projects in the Mid-Atlantic from our Washington, DC area office. You will oversee multiple active sites, mentor field leadership, and collaborate with operations teams to deliver on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of field experience in commercial construction, a proven track record of coordinating large teams, and excellent leadership, safety, and communication

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction field experience.
• Experience as a Superintendent overseeing large-scale projects.
• Ability to lead multiple Superintendents and field teams.
• Proficiency in interpreting drawings, specs, and contracts.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proven track record in safety, quality, and schedule performance.
• Willingness to travel between project sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents.
• Manage multiple active projects simultaneously.
• Lead safety, quality, and schedule performance.
• Interpret drawings and contract documents; ensure project execution.
• Utilize project scheduling software to track progress.
