Jobot, a reputable general contractor, seeks a dynamic Permanent Superintendent to oversee all stages of construction across projects in the Western United States. You will lead on-site activities, ensure schedules and budgets are met, and coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality results.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in supervision, strong leadership, deep knowledge of building codes, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a superintendent in the construction industry.
• Experience budgeting, scheduling, contract management, blueprint reading, subcontractor management, and construction planning.
• In-depth knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving issues efficiently.
• Strong leadership and the ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to quality and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with design, specifications, regulations, timelines, and safety codes.
• Develop and manage project schedules to meet all deadlines.
• Oversee budgeting, contract management, and procurement for cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to interpret blueprint designs.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with current building codes and regulations.
• Develop and implement construction plans and manage changes as needed.
• Apply strong problem-solving to address issues during construction.
• Lead a high-performing team and foster a collaborative, innovative work environment.
