Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Superintendent in Kansas City to plan, manage and execute highly complex projects, leading safety programs and coordinating subcontractors and materials. You will develop work plans, manage schedules, monitor budgets and ensure QA/QC adherence while guiding field teams to successful, on-time project completion.

The role requires 10+ years in construction, strong leadership, and proven ability to collaborate with owners, design teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Experience in leading complex construction projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentors staff.
• Manages subcontractors and workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and QA/QC programs.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self‑performed work.
• Coordinates project site care and control.
• Leads daily standup and weekly trade meetings.
• Manages project schedule with PM; tracks costs.
• Ensures quality compliance through specs and QA/QC.
