Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Superintendent 2 to plan, manage and execute on assigned projects with a focus on safety, quality and profitability. You will lead subcontractors, manage schedule and budget, coordinate site delivery, and ensure documentation and reporting are up to date.

This role requires 5+ years of construction experience; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. The position emphasizes Lean practices, teamwork, and professional growth within JE Dunn’s project

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years construction experience with supervision.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure injury-free environment.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers and QA/QC programs.
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate project site care and control.
• Lead daily standup and weekly trade meetings.
• Prepare and manage project schedules with the PM.
• Monitor project costs and cost codes; report weekly.
• Ensure documentation and filing are up to standard.
• Support project closeouts and owner/architect coordination.
